There is a complete array of pedals that professionals use to produce necessary sound effects. Obviously, you may not know in the beginning, but soon you will face this reality.

Pedals like the best delay pedal, reverb pedal, The Wah pedal and EQ pedal can be available for purchase at very affordable prices. You can buy them, but you will face problem in arranging the set up of pedals to the amp. Every beginner faces this issue, but we reduce this complex issue. Proceed ahead and you will get a perfect sequence of guitar pedals according to which you should set up guitar pedals to the amp.

Step #1 – Placing the Wah pedal

The placement of the Wah pedal will depend on what kind of tone you want. Set it before the fuzz pedal, if you want darker tone and place it after the Wah pedal, if you want brighter tone. You can also place it before overdrive pedal to produce snappier tone and you can place it after overdrive to produce mellow tone.

Step #2 – Placing compressor pedal

Place compressor before overdrive pedal to produce smoother saturation tone. The overdrive pedal can react better to the tune you are playing on the guitar, if you place it before the compressor. There is no issue in placing compressor before or after the fuzz pedal because it doesn’t make a big difference. It will always provide punchy tone, if you place compressor before fuzz pedal, so place it carefully.

Step #3 – Placing overdrive or distortion pedal

The placement of overdrive next to distortion depends on what sort of gain setting you want. Different guitarists prefer different sound outputs. You can shuffle both overdrive and distortion pedals to produce required tones and effects.

Step #4 – Setting up some necessary pedals

The EQ pedal and the Modulation pedals play a vital role in beautifying the music you are producing through the guitar. The EQ pedal should be placed next to overdrive and then you should place the modulation pedal. This setting of the EQ and the modulation pedal will allow you to produce the best tones for the track.

Step #5 – Placing delay pedal

Both reverb and delay pedals are used to produce ambience. Placing the delay pedal is not so tricky. The delay pedal should be placed before the reverb pedal at the end of the chain. It is the unique place for the delay and it should be there. You can set the delay pedal before modulation, in case you want to produce denser modulated delays. Try it because it will be something new and exciting for you, if you are a beginner.delay pedal

Step #6 – Placing reverb pedal

Check the chain of pedals set up by the famous guitarists across the world. The reverb pedal is always placed at the end of the chain in the pedalboard. You can set up the volume pedals just before the delay pedal and reverb pedal to decay the ambience tone quickly with a volume pedal.

Above shown arrangement or chain of guitar pedals is applied by the leading guitarists across the world. You should also set up the pedals according to this chain so that you can get the best result in term of required tone.
